What are Flower Essences?

Flower essences can bring about significant healing and personal spiritual development for little financial outlay. The Flower essence that is made by a essence practitioner is the energy signature (the energetic life force) of the plant. They work through the medium of the water. Our body is 73 per cent water so water is essential for our organs, body systems and tissues to function in a healthy way.

Different plants have different energies which act like a key to a door can unlock certain healing in a person. Finding the right flowers is essential and can target what the patient requires to balance their emotions. In the 1930’s Edward Bach in England discovered this method and used the healing properties of herbs and wildflowers that grew native to his area in the countryside. Thus the Bach Flower essences were created.
The essence is made with filtered water and some practitioners use moon water or make them on the solstice or special occasions to harness a certain energy. Our own bodies can detect positive effects if we are in tune and this can vary from person to person.
Flower essences are crafted by sitting the flower heads in water in the sun for 4 to 5 hours. During this time the water acts as a transporter for the energy of the flower. As water is made up hydrogen and oxygen these basic elements are capable of memory and can respond to the plants in a natural way.

In understanding how flower essences work one has to accept that were are more than just a physical body. We are in fact, a physical body in side a spiritual body, astral body and an emotional body. To balance all these body energies takes time, healing, good health and a regular practices such as meditation and exercise to stay peaceful, grounded, positive and aware.
Our emotional body is our feeling body, our sensitivity, reactions and habits which can make us fearful, stresses, anxious or angry. There are many more emotions to name, however flower essence can interact with these negative emotions and have a positive effect on us. Like inspirational art or music it carries a vibrations which can help us work through our difficult or stuck emotions very quickly and effectively rebalancing the mind, body and spirit.
