I am the Founder of Riddells Botanicals with wonderful support from my daughter Dominique. When I started using flower essences I found that they were incredibly effective and very supportive in being able to face life’s challenges with greater ease.

Managing a farm, family and teaching it was a busy time - but it always felt like home. Looking back 20 years on and having worked with all sorts of flowering plants and crystals it has been a fascinating journey. I take great pleasure in being able share this knowledge and experience with others.

At Riddells Botanicals we had a wide variety of flowers growing throughout the year including two thriving bee hives.

I started making my own essences in 2018 and felt that they had a powerful healing potency and effect on releasing emotions in people and animals. The wonderful benefits of our essences is that they are made on Wurundjeri, Woirung and Dja Dja Wurrung land which is our energetic space from Melbourne to the great dividing range. Don’t forget Mt Macedon is 360,000 million years old and is one big powerful rock. Nearby Hanging Rock has been a sacred place of ceremony and community for 40,000 years made of lava flow Tracyte stone. Our farm is situated on the Bassalt lava plains near Mt Macedon. It was originally a milking farm, an animal refuge and a small church during its colourful history.

Around 2020 we constructed a 22 meter diameter stone circle where all crystal essences are wildcrafted here. It has been great for harnessing the solar energies into the gem/crystal essences. Each of the 13 stone circle rocks has large crystals under them to draw in higher vibrations.

On our 1 hectare farm I am very lucky have one cat, four sheep plus visiting kangaroos, 26 local bird species and other local wildlife (our property is under the title ‘Land for Wildlife’).

I have always loved working with nature.

I have been been training, growing, researching and working with flower, herbal and crystal medicine essences for over 8 years. I enjoy growing organic foods and on my property I apply the principals of building a chemical free organic soil.

I feel very blessed and honoured to be able to work with such essences. I really love what I do and plan to to expand on my understanding of the local indigenous plants and teach others about their medicinal wellbeing values. I enjoy running regular workshops, market stalls and online training sessions for those who are interested in flower and gem essences. Our Head Office, Apothecary and farm is based in Riddells Creek just outside Melbourne where we grow, wildcraft, bottle and distribute our essences. We also run regularly workshops onsite and online.
